Japan: Dragon Quest Monsters sells 500k, boosts 3DS hardware

Dragon Quest Monsters Terry's Wonderland 3D sold over 500,000 copies in its first week of availability in Japan.

Nintendo's handheld outsold its closest competitor, PS3, by nearly seven units to one.
